Nicholas Precision Works acquired by ARCH Medical Solutions

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH") on Dec. 1, 2022, acquired Nicholas Precision Works ("NPW") of North Manchester, Indiana. As a contract manufacturing company specializing in precision grinding, NPW provides surgical cutting tools and precision ground instruments to the medical industry. Founded by Tony Nicholas in 2014, NPW has established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, supporting the technical development and manufacturing needs of medical OEMs bringing new and innovative products to market. In conjunction with the acquisition, NPW and the existing ARCH precision grinding capabilities at its OrthoGrind manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana, will form the new ARCH Medical Grinding business unit.

Alpha Manufacturing & Design acquired by ARCH Medical Solutions

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH") on Nov. 14, 2022, acquired Alpha Manufacturing & Design ("Alpha") of Warsaw, Indiana. Alpha is an ISO 13485-certified contract manufacturer specializing in highly engineered and complex surgical devices for spine, trauma, large joint, and dental applications. Founded in 2008, Alpha manufactures surgical instruments and assemblies; surgical drill bits and reamers; surgical blades; spinal, trauma, and dental implants; and more. Alpha adds to the depth and breadth of the ARCH Medical Solutions repertoire of precision-manufacturing solutions for medical OEMs. With the acquisition, ARCH Medical Solutions further solidifies its position as a leading, diversified supplier in the medical device contract manufacturing market.

MedTorque acquired by ARCH Medical Solutions

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH") on July 13, 2022, acquired MedTorque ("MT"), a world-class precision manufacturer of orthopedic instruments and implants with facilities in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Elmhurst, Illinois, from Parallel49 Equity, a private equity firm based in Lake Forest, Illinois, focused on investing in specialty manufacturing and business services companies. MedTorque is highly proficient in serving a wide range of orthopedic applications, including spinal fusion and spinal arthroplasty; upper and lower extremities; large joint reconstruction; trauma; and robotic surgery. MedTorque is also known for its product portfolio of silicone handles, ratchet drivers, and torque-limiting drivers that can be custom engineered to customers' requirements. The Elmhurst, Illinois, facility will operate as ARCH Medical Solutions – Elmhurst, and the Kenosha, Wisconsin, facility will operate as ARCH – MedTorque. The acquisition expands the ARCH Medical Solutions repertoire and strengthens the company's position as a leading, diversified supplier in the medical device contract manufacturing market.

ARCH acquires New York State Tool, scaling to serve the aerospace industry

ARCH® Cutting Tools Corp., an ARCH Global Holdings LLC Company (ARCH), on June 20, 2022, acquired New York State Tool ("NYST"). The company specializes in custom made solid round carbide tools, catering to metals and applications in the aerospace and defense industries, as well as other industrial manufacturing markets. The new acquisition will join ARCH Cutting Tools, further solidifying ARCH as an industry leader in precision custom tooling.

ARCH® Cutting Tools Corp. acquires Diversified Precision Products, Inc.

ARCH® Cutting Tools Corp., an ARCH Global Holdings LLC Company (ARCH), on May 23, 2022, acquired Diversified Precision Products, Inc. in Spring Arbor, Michigan. The company specializes in Custom Round Tools and Work Rest Blades, and excels in the automotive, medical, agricultural, heavy equipment, and aerospace industries. The new acquisition will join ARCH Cutting Tools, further solidifying ARCH as an industry-leader in precision custom tooling.

"Diversified Precision Products is a welcome addition to the ARCH family, further bolstering our custom tooling DNA," said Jeff Cederstrom, Divisional President of ARCH Cutting Tools. M&K Engineering, Inc. acquired by ARCH Medical Solutions

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH"), on May 10, 2022, acquired of M&K Engineering ("M&K") of Woburn, Massachusetts. Located just outside Boston, M&K has more than three decades of precision manufacturing experience serving the medical, aerospace, and defense industries. FDA- and ITAR-registered with an impressive equipment list featuring multiple Swiss machines and robotic automation, M&K is a valuable addition providing vertically integrated support backed by a knowledgeable team. M&K Engineering becomes ARCH Medical & Aerospace – Woburn under the ARCH Medical Solutions umbrella.

ARCH Medical Solutions enters the additive manufacturing space with acquisition of Amplify Additive

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH"), on April 15, 2022, acquired Amplify Additive ("Amplify") of Scarborough, Maine. An additive manufacturing company, Amplify develops and manufactures implants that leverage 3D metal printing, particularly in Titanium. Amplify now becomes ARCH Additive – Portland under the ARCH Medical Solutions umbrella, expanding the reach of ARCH into additive manufacturing for orthopedics and solidifying the company as a leading, diversified supplier noted for growth, scale and innovative solutions for customers within the medical device contract manufacturing market.

"This is an important milestone in the growth and evolution of our Medical Solutions segment," said Paul Barck, Divisional President of ARCH Medical Solutions. "Brian is an industry veteran within orthopedics bringing deep product design and additive manufacturing process knowledge to ARCH. Market Services Corporation acquired by ARCH Medical Solutions

ARCH Medical Solutions Corp. ("ARCH"), on March 16, 2022, acquired Market Services Corporation ("MSC") located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. MSC is a manufacturer of custom designed ultrasonic sub-systems for the clinical and laboratory diagnostic markets. The newly acquired operation will join ARCH Medical Solutions, bolstering ARCH as a diversified supplier noted for growth and scale within the medical device contract manufacturing market. The acquired business features products that align well with the ARCH Medical Solutions – Newtown facility and will be integrated into this site.

Paul Barck, Divisional President of ARCH Medical Solutions, said the MSC acquisition adds another area of expertise to the ARCH brand supporting diagnostic testing and life sciences end markets.
