About ARCH Global Precision

Arch Global PrecisionARCH Global Precision was formed by an investment group led by Strength Capital Partners in the final months of 2011, specifically for the purpose of acquiring companies that specialize in the manufacturing of (1) precision machined components and (2) precision cutting tools and instruments. In December 2011 ARCH Global Precision announced the acquisition of Hi-Vol Products, KEO Cutters, and Richards Micro Tool from TriMas Corporation, which became the foundation for the expanded company that exists today.

In 2012 ARCH acquired the milling cutter division of Niagara Cutter, located in Athol, Massachusetts. Immediately after the acquisition closed the business was renamed to KEO Milling Cutters.

The following year ARCH acquired Production Tool & Grinding, Inc. of Orange, Massachusetts. This business added custom solid carbide tools for the aerospace and power generation markets to our capabilities and the business was quickly merged into the KEO Milling Cutters operation.

2014 was a very active year for ARCH Global Precision, with five separate acquisitions completed. In January ARCH acquired Ultra-Dex Tooling Systems, Ultra-Dex USA and Beamer Laser Marking Systems of Flushing, Michigan, adding indexable milling, drilling and boring systems, along with tool holders and laser marking systems to the ARCH offering. In August ARCH acquired Voisard Tool, of Russia, Ohio, adding significant capabilities in the area of carbide drills and end mills. In October of 2014 we acquired Professional Machine (“Promach”), of Bellingham, Massachusetts. Promach represented our first add-on acquisition in the Precision Machined Components Segment. Promach manufactures high precision valve and other components for several end markets. Finally, in December of 2014 ARCH completed the acquisitions of JASCO Tools (based in Rochester, New York) and Little Rock Tool (based in Little Rock, Arkansas). These companies greatly expanded ARCH’s capabilities in the area of specialty tools, including carbide tipped product, high speed steel and carbide reamers and heat-exchange fin rolls, along with precision machining capabilities that are performed in the Rochester facility.

ARCH Global Precision2015 has started out as another active M&A year for ARCH, with the completed acquisition of Valley Machine in January. Valley Machine, located in North Plains, Oregon represents ARCH’s first acquisition in the Pacific Northwest and broadens our precision machining capabilities, including the advanced program management capabilities and design-for-manufacturability that Valley Machine routinely provides to its customers.

ARCH Global is focused on the continuous enhancement of our current companies and product lines. Through the noted acquisitions, we have developed many strong brands within the marketplace. This approach has allowed us to continue to leverage customer relationships across the enterprise.
